Dė­dė Či­ži­kas gė­lė­mis ap­rū­pin­da­vo vi­są pla­čią gi­mi­nę. Jis ap­so­din­da­vo net ir Aly­taus Šv. An­ge­lų Sar­gų baž­ny­čią. Jo nu­my­lė­ti­nės bu­vo tul­pės, ro­žės ir ra­ga­nės.
