Diduma daržininkų mėgėjų sako, kad jų sandėliukai šiemet neužsipildys tiek, kiek ankstesniais metais. Ne vienas liko be agurkų, svogūnų, dažnas net nekasė žieminių česnakų, pavasarinė sausra juos išdegino, liko net ir patyrę daržininkai be žirnių, pupų. Derlingą ir gražų sodą sutuoktiniai per gerus dešimt metų sukūrė pasinaudodami gamtinės žemdirbystės principais, kurių pradininkas Nikolajus Kurdiumovas. Viešnagė tokioje gamtos salelėje palieka daug gerų emocijų ir įspūdžių.

Ir inteligentiško tinginio darže darbo įdėti reikia

Daiva kaip daržininkė įvardija tokius gamtinės žemdirbystės privalumus: „Kurdami ekologinį ūkį, pirmiausia prisidedame prie atliekų rūšiavimo. Mes mažai ką išmetame. Gal tik tuomet, kai susidėsto daug įvykių ir darbų į kažkokį laiko tarpą, tada triūsas darže jau mažiau malonus tampa. Bet atostogų laiką čia maloniausia leisti.“

Pats gamtinės daržininkystės pradininkas N.Kurdiumovas deklaruoja, kad tokiame darže nėra vietos sunkiam fiziniam darbui. Apskritai mažiau darbo negu įprastame darže, mažiau ir vietos reikia daržovėms, o derlius – didelis.

Derlius stebėtinai gausus ir sveikas, net agurkai sveikutėliai šiuo metu, kai, rodos, visos Dzūkijos daržus apniko visuotinė tikroji ir netikroji miltligė. Pupelių ankštys nei taškuotos, nei nurudusios, kas matosi tradicinės žemdirbystės daržuose.

Daiva teigia, kad ekologiškam daržui nebaisios ligos ar garšvų kaimynystė, visi augalai sugyvena. Gamtinis daržas auga ir derlių brandina savu ritmu. Kur jums teko matyti pluoštinių kanapių, kurios peršoktų ir trijų metrų aukštį?

Teigiama, kad baklažanams pomidorų kaimynystė netinkama. Daivos šiltnamyje tarp pomidorų įsitaisęs baklažanas jau brandina vaisius.

„Taip ūkininkaujant sėjomaina nebūtina. Pupeles jau ne vienerius metus tose pačiose vietose auginame, svogūnai vienoje vietoje gerai auga, tai juos ten kasmet sukišame, pomidorų gi iš šiltnamio neiškaitaliosi. Viską mulčiuojame, nes neturime kada ravėti. Visas atliekas pilame, šiaudais prispaudžiame. Gal žolė ir prasikala, bet neįsišaknija, ją lengva išrauti. Drėkinimo sistemos funkcijas atlieka į žemę įkasti subadyti buteliai. Į juos įpiltas vanduo pasiekia augalo šaknis. Ar viską, ką užauginame, sunaudojame? Visko pasitaiko, kai ko ir nesuspėjame laiku suvalgyti. Dabar skinu šparagines pupeles, jas nuvaliusi paverdu ir dedu į košes, sriubas, troškinius. Kai pradeda nokti kitos daržovės, imame jas valgyti. Ilgėliau dera pomidorai, rudeniop prasidės moliūgai“, – patirtimi dalijasi Daiva.

Iš meilės daiktams gimsta naujos idėjos

Kanapių arbatą gėrėme jaukiame, netradiciniame jų būste. Daiva atvirai kalba, kad abu su vyru yra nuolatinėje kūryboje. Leonas apskritai krapštukas, buvo momentas, kai jis žolės plotelius pjovė žirklėmis. Pagamino šio namelio kartoninį maketą. Terasą iš plytų likučių sumūrijo. Leonas pats plaktuku smulkino plytas.

Daiva kviečia užsukti ir į Žvaigždžių nameliu vadinamą vasarnamį, medinį namą, virš kurio įmontuota saulės energiją savoms reikmėms gaminanti įranga. Žvaigždžių nameliu jis vadinamas neatsitiktinai, čia buvo apsistojusi kompozitorė ir pedagogė Kristina Vasiliauskaitė, kurios kūrinius groja orkestras „Svajonė“.

Jame yra gyvenęs ir orkestro dirigentas, šiuolaikinės muzikos ansamblio „Synaesthesis“ įkūrėjas ir vadovas Karolis Variakojis. Pašnekovė teigia, kad šis jaunas žmogus kupinas fantastiško profesionalumo. Jam viskas aišku, su juo „Svajonė“ iriasi tiesiausiu keliu į tikslą.

Kompetencijos man jau nebepakanka, mylime ir palaikome naują dirigentą Karolį“, – savikritiškai kalba Daiva, ir toliau, galima sakyti, kantriai labdaringai nešanti visą organizacinių darbų, ir ne tik jų, krūvį.

Jaukiame darbo kampelyje, iš kurio, pakėlus akis nuo kompiuterio klaviatūros, atsiveria didžioji dalis žemės valdų, jau matosi naujo sezono darbų akcentų. Daiva su „Svajone“ rugsėjo 7 dieną ruošiasi groti Alytaus sinagogoje, 13 dieną laukia atsakingas koncertas su „Amerikos virtuozais“, talentinga muzikantų šeima iš JAV.
