Likus mėnesiui iki popiežiaus Pranciškaus apsilankymo Lietuvoje skelbiamos gatvės, kuriuose žmonės galės sutikti ir pasveikinti popiežių Pranciškų, važiuojantį papamobiliu.

 „Simboliška, kad po mėnesio pats popiežius savo vizitu apjungs visas tris Baltijos šalis, kaip prieš 29-erius metus buvome sujungti Baltijos kelio. Tegul šie susitikimai su popiežiumi kelyje būna mūsų laisvės ženklas ir bendruomenės šventė,“ – sako LVK pasiruošimo popiežiaus vizitui generalinis sekretorius kun. Saulius Rumšas OP.

Popiežius Pranciškus atvyksta į Lietuvą pasimatyti su žmonėmis, todėl daug kur jis atsisako uždaros transporto priemonės ir iš lėto, sveikindamasis su žmonėmis, keliauja papamobiliu. Į kelią žmonės kviečiami atsinešti Lietuvos vėliavas, sveikinti popiežių džiugiais šūksniais, dainomis ar giesmėmis.

  • 18.30 val. kelyje nuo Katedros iki Apaštalinės nunciatūros: T. Vrublevskio g. – Arsenalo g. – T. Kosciuškos g.
  • Sekmadienį, rugsėjo 23 d., 18.15 val. kelyje nuo Lukiškių a. iki Apaštalinės nunciatūros: Gedimino pr. – T. Vrublevskio g. – Arsenalo g. – T. Kosciuškos g.

 KAUNE:

  • Rugsėjo 23 d. Kaune žmonės kviečiami susirinkti į Santakos parką iki 8 val., kur kartu lauks atvykstančio popiežiaus ir švęs Mišias. Prieš šv. Mišias popiežius, važiuodamas papamobiliu, sveikins susirinkusius žmones.
  • 14.20 val. iš Kauno arkivyskupijos kurijos į Kauno arkikatedrą: Rotušės a. – M. Valančiaus g.
