Pa­aiš­kė­jo dar vie­nas kan­di­da­tas į jau ki­tą­met lau­kian­čių Aly­taus mies­to me­ro rin­ki­mų kė­dę. Tai Aly­taus ver­sli­nin­kas Ge­di­mi­nas Dauk­šys (nuotr.). Jis – vi­suo­me­ni­nio ju­dė­ji­mo „Už Aly­tų“ iš­kel­tas kan­di­da­tas. „Šį ma­no ap­si­spren­di­mą kan­di­da­tuo­ti pa­ska­ti­no ma­žė­jan­tis Aly­tus. Per pas­ta­ruo­sius de­šimt­me­čius šis mies­tas pra­ra­do per 20 tūkst. gy­ven­to­jų. To­kia ten­den­ci­ja nė­ra ma­lo­ni nei man, nei ki­tam mies­tie­čiui. Ma­no ir ju­dė­ji­mo „Už Aly­tų“ tiks­las bus šią ten­den­ci­ją pa­keis­ti“, – sa­kė G.Dauk­šys.

Ver­sli­nin­kas įsi­ti­ki­nęs, kad jei­gu gy­ven­to­jų ma­žė­ji­mo ten­den­ci­jas pa­keis­ti pa­vy­ko Drus­ki­nin­kams, Kau­nui, tai ga­li ir Aly­tus.

„Aly­tu­je tu­ri­me daug ga­bių, ener­gin­gų žmo­nių, tai mies­tą tik­rai ga­li­me vys­ty­ti“, – kal­bė­jo ver­sli­nin­kas.

Jis pri­pa­ži­no, kad min­tį bū­ti mies­to va­do­vu bran­di­no se­niai ir tai ne­bu­vo spon­ta­niš­kas, ne­ap­gal­vo­tas spren­di­mas. Apie tai il­gai svars­tė su vi­sa šei­ma, nors at­ei­čiai tu­rė­jo ir ki­to­kių pla­nų.

Pa­klaus­tas, ko­kių prie­mo­nių im­tų­si, kad mies­te gy­ven­to­jų pradėtų dau­gė­ti, jis pa­ti­ki­no, kad yra pa­reng­tas kon­kre­tus pla­nas su kon­kre­čiais skai­čiais.

„Ma­no ir ju­dė­ji­mo „Už Aly­tų“ tiks­las – kad po ki­tos ka­den­ci­jos mies­te gy­ven­tų bent tūks­tan­čiu gy­ven­to­jų dau­giau nei da­bar. Tai ne­bus pro­gra­ma, ku­ria kaž­ką ge­rin­sim, di­din­sim, steng­si­mės ir dar kaž­ką da­ry­sim, o tai bus kon­kre­ti skai­čiais, ana­li­zė­mis pa­rem­ta pro­gra­ma, ku­ri bus įgy­ven­din­ta ir dėl to mies­tas pra­dės di­dė­ti“, – kal­bė­jo kan­di­da­tas.

G.Dauk­šys – tre­čia­sis ofi­cia­liai įvar­dy­tas kan­di­da­tas į mies­to me­ro pos­tą. Anks­čiau Ša­rū­no Klė­ge­rio kan­di­da­tū­rą iš­kė­lė Tė­vy­nės są­jun­ga-Lie­tu­vos krikš­čio­nys de­mok­ra­tai, o Ne­ri­jus Ce­siu­lis bus so­cial­de­mok­ra­tų kan­di­da­tas.
