Rugsėjo 7–8 dienomis Birštone rengiamas antrasis visiškai nemokamas diskusijų festivalis „Būtent!“. Dvi dienas Vytauto parko erdvėje Birštone vyks per 90 renginių ir diskusijų svarbiomis Lietuvai temomis, tikimasi, jog lankytojų skaičius sieks 5000. Festivalis „Būtent!“ yra vienas iš 8 Šiaurės ir Baltijos šalių demokratijos festivalių šeimos narių. Festivalio svečių Birštone lauks 8 diskusijų erdvės – „Idėjų Lietuva“, „Europietiška Lietuva“, „Versli Lietuva“, „Atvira Lietuva“, „Galimybių Lietuva“, „Tvari Lietuva“, „Sumani Lietuva“ ir „Kūrybinga Lietuva“. Kiekvienoje jų sutartu ritmu – valanda diskusijai ir pusvalandis pertraukai – viena tema keis kitą, o festivalio svečiai migruos tarp erdvių užtrukdami ten, kur bus diskutuojama būtent jiems aktualiausiomis temomis. „Trečdalį renginio programos sudaro visuomenės pasiūlytos temos, o ji visa puikiai atspindi šalyje verdančių nuomonių įvairovę, – sako vienas iš festivalio iniciatorių, VšĮ „Visos idėjos“ atstovas, Antanas Bubnelis. – Lankytojus kviesime ne tik stebėti, bet ir aktyviai dalyvauti diskusijose įvairiausiomis temomis: apie opiausias verslą kamuojančias kliūtis, klimato kaitą, regionų plėtrą, turizmo strategiją, vaikų mitybos įpročius. Bus svarstoma, kodėl Lietuvoje mažai protestuojama, ką pakeistų galimybė balsuoti nuo 16 metų, kokią įtaką dosnumas versle gali turėti ekonomikos raidai ir t. t.“

Diskusijų dalyvių būrys – įspūdingas sričių ir patirčių įvairove: Algirdas Toliatas, Žydrūnė Vitaitė, Domas Dargis, Urtė Neniškytė, Rytis Zemkauskas, Unė Kaunaitė ir bet kuris kitas iš 200 festivalio „Būtent!“ diskusijų dalyvių, sutikusių atvykti į Birštoną ir taip palaikančių nuomonių įvairovės ir demokratijos šventę, turės kuo pasidalyti ir apie ką padiskutuoti su festivalio publika.

Šeštadienio vakarą vyks parlamentinių partijų lyderių debatai. Apie valstybės paslaugas piliečiams ir tikruosius šių valstybės „klientų“ poreikius diskutuos Eugenijus Gentvilas, Gediminas Kirkilas, Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė, Gintautas Paluckas ir Rita Tamašunienė. Debatus moderuos žurnalistas Edmundas Jakilaitis.

Kokybišką užimtumą  – kūrybines dirbtuves, įvairius stalo ir lauko žaidimus – jaunesniems ir jauniausiems festivalio dalyviams organizuoja skautai, maltiečiai, „Misija Sibiras“ ir kitų organizacijų dalyviai, speciali erdvė bus paruošta ir keturkojams augintiniams.

„Praėjusiais metais likome maloniai nustebinti žmonių aktyvumo, kai jie ne tik klausėsi diskusijų, bet su entuziazmu sprendė kritinio mąstymo indekso testą, šiais metais atvežame dar vieną – interaktyvų pilietiškumo nustatymo žaidimą. ALF, partneriaudamas su Lietuvos kultūros taryba, kvies į penkias skirtingų krypčių diskusijas. „Šimtmečio dvasią atspindintis lietuviškas kinas“ – lietuviško kino epopėjos aptarimą su Ryčiu Zemkausku, pokalbį „Apie Lietuvą po 100 metų: atvira, kiaura, uždara“, klausiant, ar tikrai šiandien atviros visuomenės idėja patiria krizę, su Donatu Pusliu, Bernardinai.lt vyr. redaktoriumi, politologu. Andrius Zimaitis, teisininkas, visuomenės veikėjas, „Laikykitės ten su Andriumi Tapinu“ scenaristas, kartu su Pauliumi Gritėnu, 15min.lt aktualijų žurnalistu ir politikos komentatoriumi, diskusijoje „Išgalvojau Lietuvą. 100 įvaizdžio formavimo metų“ juokaus su  aktoriumi Giedriumi Savicku.

Diskusijoje „Pokalbiai apie lietuvių literatūros kanoną“ bus ieškoma atsako į klausimą, ar siekdami įsiklausyti į pasaulį turime ką pasakyti patys? Diskusija „Pilietinis protestas: kodėl klūpoma, kai reikia keltis?“, kurią moderuos Justinas Žilinskas, teisininkas, Mykolo Romerio universiteto profesorius, publicistas, rašytojas, sieks išmatuoti protesto efektyvumą ir įvardys, ar būta efektyvių protestų Lietuvoje.

Rugsėjo 7–8 d. Birštone vykstantį nemokamą diskusijų festivalį „Būtent!“ kuria ir dalį programos temų pasiūlė jo organizatoriai – Britų taryba, Šiaurės ministrų tarybos biuras Lietuvoje, bankas „Swedbank“, Birštono savivaldybė bei programos partneriai – Atviros Lietuvos fondas, Europos Komisijos atstovybė Lietuvoje, Europos Parlamento informacijos biuras Lietuvoje ir „Versli Lietuva“.

Festivalis „Būtent!“ Lietuvoje organizuojamas antrą kartą. Vienas iš renginio tikslų – parodyti, kad svarbūs sprendimai neatsiejami nuo požiūrių įvairovės ir skirtingų visuomenės grupių įtraukimo į jų svarstymą. Festivalio organizatoriai pernai sukūrė atvirą diskusijų erdvę, kuria prisidedama prie demokratiškos, vieningos bei pažangios visuomenės kūrimo, ugdoma diskusijų ir įsiklausymo kultūra, tolerancija kitai nuomonei ar požiūriui. Festivalio iniciatoriai įkvėpimo semiasi iš ilgametes tradicijas turinčio ir kasmet apie 30 tūkst. žmonių pritraukiančio Almedalen diskusijų forumo Švedijoje, sėkmingų pavyzdžių Danijoje, Suomijoje bei kitose Skandinavijos šalyse, taip pat kaimyninėse Estijoje bei Latvijoje.
